The Revolving Restaurant At KL Tower

Today I’m happy because this is my first time visiting the KL Tower (The former official taller building in Malaysia).

The official name for KL Tower is called Menara Kuala Lumpur, and the height of the building is 421m. The special of the tower where there is a revolving restaurant located at Level Two of the Menara Kuala Lumpur ‘Tower Head’. While you enjoying your lunch or dinner, you can see the KL view from the tower because the place you sit is slowly moving therefore every minute you can have different view.

The restaurant (Seri Angkasa) is opening daily from 12pm to 3pm for lunch and 6.30pm to 11pm for dinner. The opening hours as below:

12.00pm – 3.00pm daily

6.30pm – 11.00pm daily

11.30pm – 3.00pm
Weekends & Public holidays only (with special live guitar performance)

3.30pm – 5.30pm weekdays only
(inc: tea/coffee/soft drink & cake)

You can whether take Taxi from Sunway or take LRT, but since you are new to the country then I would suggest you to take Taxi. Anyway, below are some simple information of taking LRT to the place. I hope it helps

    – Take Taxi from Sunway to the nearest LRT station, may be the Asia Jaya Putra LRT station.
    – From Asia Jaya Putra LRT station go to KL Sentral station, then change KL Monorail from KL Sentral to Bukit Nanas station.
    – After you exit Bukit Nanas station, you can whether take Taxi or walk to the place. I believe you ask the people around they may be able to guide you.

If you are going to the restaurant for lunch is around MRY 70++ including the tower visit fare. The price for dinner I’m not too sure.

To be frankly, I believe the KL view at night is more attractive than afternoon.
