Equipped with fountain, children playing pool, jogging track, tropical plants and trees, etc, the KLCC garden and park is no doubt a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life or enjoy the natural breeze and trees’ shelter that cooling down equatorial atmosphere.

Here are some of photos that I’d taken during the last weekend:

A lesson that said, “fruits that are not bitten by bird or squirrel might be poisonous”.

Wireless@KL is a free WIFI Internet connection project in KL
The KL Wireless Metropolitan Project, better called as Wireless@KL, is formed to provide FOC wireless broadband for everyone in KL, doesn’t matter you’re actually residents or day trippers!
According to source, Wireless@KL project is brought by DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) and MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) in collaboration with Packet One Networks (a subsidiary of listed company Green Packet Bhd) in a pioneering effort to transform Kuala Lumpur into a world-class wireless city, with an estimated connnection speed up to 512Kbps provided by 1500 over WIFI access points.

Once this lovely infrastructure be fully commissioned, almost all the popular hotspots and residential areas will be under the free WIFI coverage for 2 years (subjected to time taken for access points installation)!

At this time being, Wireless@KL coverage checker shows that majority of city areas are still stated as “coming soon”.

In brief, Wireless@KL only available at these places:Jln Raja Abdullah, Jalan Raja Laut, Changkat Bukit Bintang, City Square, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Berangan, Lorong Medan Tuanku, Megan Avenue, Menara Citibank, Menara OCBC, Pertama Complex, KL Plaza.

Please be reminded, however, there is a limitation whereby monthly network data usage PER account is capped at 500 MB. Hence, don’t expect to use it for P2P download; it’s meant for leisure browsing, IM, email, etc. (Don’t abuse the service; otherwise the free lunch will be gone anytime!)

So, hurry up! Register yourself an ID now to get free WIFI access whenever you’re in KL city!

Although, the price might be end up quite expensive as there are different operators with different fare.

Although, the Rapid KL which owns the majority public transport networks in the city, offer a ceiling price at RM 7 per calendar day (per passenger) to commute with any Rapid KL omnibuses and Rapid KL LRT systems (Kelana Jaya Rail Line and Ampang Rail Line, a.k.a Putra Line and Star Line).

I’ve tried twice over there – it’s really worth to recommend to friends who love it too!

Where is Auntie Mama Home Recipe restaurant that I’ve visited?
It’s at the 1st floor of Cosway Building (Menara Cosway), opposite the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (Bukit Bintang). You can get down from the Monorail station at Jln Sultan Ismail and walk aside Wisma Genting.
