The Feng Shui And The Color Of The Car

Last month I came across a Feng Shui website and I found 1 interesting topic that related to the color of the Car.

Referring to the Hong Kong well known Feng Shui expert – Master So, he mentioned that if you drive with an unsuitable color of car may bring you unlucky thing. Before I bought my car I never know that the color will have such reflection to the owner, but luckily I get the correct one. Anyway, this is just for reference and no one can 100% prove that it is true, but for those Chinese I believe they really will consider the color before they make an order.

First, Master so break the people into 3 main groups by date of birth.

Group 1– (驚蟄)*6th of March until 6th of May
Group 2 – (立夏) *6th of May until (立秋)*8th of August
Group 3 – Not fall into the above group.

*The starting date may be differ from year to year, some time 1 day early and some time 1 day late. But, it will list down on the calendar every year.

Color of the Car
Group 1 – Green, Dark Green, Red, Orange, Purple
Group 2 – White, Gold, Silver, Black, Gray, Blue
Group 3 – No special color for this group, but is more suitable to follow group 2

Pollinate Passion Fruit

It is very EASY to plant the passion flower or passion vine (Passiflora) but it is VERY hard for it to naturally bear aromatic, tempted passion fruits.

This is especially true if the passion fruit vines are grown in backyard within a crowded residential area where you hardly find lot of bees, butterflies, etc, to pollinate the passion flowers.

How to pollinate passion fruit flower?

Without enough insects to act as pollinator, the passionfruit flowers hardly fertilized simply counting on wind, water, etc, because of the following factors:

1) The unique passionfruit flower structure:

With reference to above diagram taken from passionfruit pollination handbook, the anthers with pollens not only appear lower than stigma but also facing downwards to the floral axis and against the pollen receivers.

Thus, the pollens are much easier to fall down than blew up even the stigma is adapted to catch or tap the pollens.

2) Short life span of the blossom – the passion flowers only open and last for few hours. Usually the passion fruit flowers open at dawn and close about noon, which will likely to bear fruits as that is the active period of pollinators.

Sometimes, however, the passionfruit flowers only open at late evening and close before dawn! This is exactly what happen to my passion flowers :-( Needless to say, the chance to see them bearing fruits is almost zero, as all the natural pollinators are not working after the sun goes down!

To fix this exception, manual pollinating is a must! There are some photos in the gallery showing you how to do hand pollination, if you would like to turn the passion flowers into aromatic fruits.

How Did Alain Robert Climb Petronas Twin Tower?

On the 1st of September, 2009, the French Spiderman Alain Robert made 3rd attempt to scale Petronas Twin Tower, the once world tallest building, and did successfully climb up to the summit of Petronas Twin Tower as the building security failed to stop him from proceeding further.

The Channel 4 Daredevils programme filmed his stunning scaling on his bare hand until he stood atop the summit of the steel structure. For those who missed the show, you may watch the official footage of how the French Spiderman scaled Petronas Twin Tower on YouTube.

The following screenshots are taken from the said Channel 4 Daredevils footage. Apparently, these static images are not as attractive as the video.

Crescent Moon Of Chinese New Year 2010 At Daytime

There was a thin cloud covering the crescent moon at dusk, before the night falls.

Apparently, the cloudy sky screwed up shooting of the crescent moon seen on the sixth day of Chinese New Year 2010, the year of Tiger in Chinese zodiac.

A rather close-up shot of the half moon that appears in the clear blue sky while the Sun moving down to the horizon at dusk. There was no cloud at all and the sky looked really blue, just nice as a natural canvas to outline the half Moon.

This is the first time I take photograph of the Moon at daytime, with such detail of moon surface captured by the default telephoto lens kit of Sony Alpha 200. That trigger my good old desire of having a telescope again for a better look and feel :-)

A Grasshopper Is Enjoying Lunch

It was around 12pm and I used to take a short walk after lunch in the garden. Suddenly I saw this little grasshopper just started to lunch at the place where I stop.

A very thank you to my Nokia N82 because it integrated with video recorder function and hence I can immediately opens it to record a video. I turn on the video recorder and move silently toward the grasshopper so that can recording clearly.

I recording almost one minute and the grasshopper seem like not caring about me who stand beside and just biting the grass to get its stomach full.

The Little Snail Making Love In The Garden

In the early morning I feel so sleepy even I had wakeup and washed my face, perhaps it was a raining day. Suddenly I saw something that attracting me.

I saw a little snail making love in the garden; I quickly go to my room and take my camera to record the snail sweetly moment but I did not manage to record until the end. I believe that you never have chance to see it in the Facebook Happy Garden.
